E-mail notifications from BRAND DIALOG

You will receive e-mail notifications from BRAND DIALOG at various times. These are known as ‘user notifications’.

There are the following types of notifications:
 

Account notifications

Notification Reason  Explanation
Login Error There has been a failed login to your account. You will be informed that you or someone else has attempted to log in with your data
Account activation Your new account has been created. Your personal account is now available and only needs to be activated by you by following the link in the email, setting a new password and confirming your details. The activation link is valid for 28 days
Password renewal You or an administrator have changed your changed your password. You will always receive a notification if your password has been changed. If this has happened without your consent, please contact support.
Password reset You or an administrator have requested a
requested a reset of your password.
You will receive an email to reset your password. The link is valid for 48 hours.
Password expired Your password needs to be renewed. To prevent misuse of your account, your password must be renewed in a cycle of 90 days.
Account expired Your account has not been used for too long. If you do not use your account for a longer period of time, it is considered orphaned and will be deactivated. Currently, the period of inactivity for an account is 90 days.
 
 

Project notifications

Notification  Reason  Explanation
Projekt report The project was finalised. You are receiving this notification because you are part of the project team.
Assignment as
Project Manager
You have been assigned as Project Manager You have been assigned as a project manager and are therefore part of the project team. You will therefore receive all project notifications.
Assignment as
Approval Manager
You have been assigned as Approval Manager You have been assigned as a approval manager and are therefore part of the project team. You will therefore receive all project notifications.
Added to project team You have been added to the project team. You are now part of the project team. You will therefore receive all project notifications.
Removed by the project team You were removed by the project team. You are no longer part of the project team. You will therefore no longer receive any project notifications.
 
 

Document notifications

Notification  Reason  Explanation
New document - under review A new document has been uploaded. You will be informed that a member of the project team has submitted a new document for review.
New document - please check A new document has been uploaded. You are assigned as Approval Manager and are informed that a new document has been submitted for review.
Revise document A document needs to be revised. A document from a project of which you are a member of the project team must be corrected and uploaded again (received by all team members including the Approval Manager).
New document revision under review A revised document has been uploaded. You will be informed that a member of the project team has submitted a new document revision for review.
New document revision - please check A revised document has been uploaded. You are assigned as Approval Manager and are informed that a new document revision has been submitted for review.
Document released A document has been released. A document from a project of which you are a member of the project team has been released (received by all team members including the Approval Manager).
 
 
 

File sharing notification

Notification  Reason  Explanation
File Sharing A shared file is available in BRAND DIALOG. You will be informed that someone has shared a file with you, which is now available for download in BRAND DIALOG.
 
 
 

If you do not receive any notifications, there may be various reasons for this:

  • You are not part of the project team. You must be part of the project team to receive notifications about the project.
  • The notifications will end up in your spam folder. Please check this.
  • Your mailbox is not accessible. For various reasons, we sometimes receive the message ‘Email could not be delivered’. Please test the accessibility of your inbox by sending an e-mail from outside to your e-mail account.
  • If you can rule out all of the above points, please contact support.
